L’Acoustic Research AR-UA1 è un amplificatore per cuffie con DAC USB esplicitamente pensato per applicazioni desk top audio.

L’Acoustic Research AR-UA1 è un DAC USB asincrono e un amplificatore per cuffie. Non si fa mancare nulla e svolge al meglio entrambe le funzioni, rendendo l’acquisto non certo d’impulso, ma ben meditato, dato l’esborso richiesto.

Al suo interno batte un cuore basato sul convertitore Burr-brown PCM1794A DAC, capace di digerire file PCM a 24 bit / 192 kHz e DSD 64/128, sia provenienti da OSX e sia da Windows.

I connettori d’uscita dell’Acoustic Research AR-UA1 sono dorati, l’amplificatore per cuffie non teme le impedenze più ostiche e in dote si porta anche un software player da installare sul computer di casa (si tratta di una versione lite di JRiver Media Center).
