Il network player / CD ripper con hard disk integrato Bluesound Vault 2I è anche un ottimo punto di partenza per realizzare un sistema multi-room.
Il Bluesound Vault 2I consente di liquefare la propria collezione di CD sull’hard disk interno da 2 TB e grazie alla meccanica ottica integrata, che volendo insiste anche su un dispositivo di rete come un NAS e – abbastanza prevedibilmente – funziona anche da semplice lettore CD.
Ma il Bluesound Vault 2I non è solo un semplice CD ripper.
Usando l’app BluOS è possibile accedere a una moltitudine di funzionalità per godere dell’universo delle possibilità offerte dalla musica liquida.
Le due porte USB consentono il collegamento a dispositivi solidi, ma c’è anche un ingresso ottico che alla bisogna diventa analogico. La classica coppia di RCA rappresenta l’uscita stereo principale, ma ci sono anche uscite sub, Coax e Toslink, per saltare il DAC interno Tra gli ingressi ci sono anche l’immancabile ricevitore Bluetooth, AirPlay2 e la presa Ethernet.
Circa il DAC interno (di cui non è stato reso noto il modello), è in grado di decodificare file PCM fino a 29/192; per il formato DSD bisognerà installare BluOS con Mac o PC e da lì mandare il segnale al Bluesound Vault 2I.
Tantissimi i servizi di streaming audio accessibili: Spotify, Deezer, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, WiMP, Rdio, Slacker Radio, Qobuz, HighResAudio, JUKE e altri ancora. Il network player è anche compatibile con lo standard MQA.
Per i comandi vocali c’è già pronta Alexa.
Concludendo, col Bluesound Vault 2I è possibile godersi tutta la versatilità e la qualità d’ascolto della musica liquida senza le complicazioni di un computer, il tutto grazie alla semplicità d’uso del BluOS e alla potenza di calcolo del microprocessore ARM Cortex A9, che rappresenta il cuore pulsante di questo streamer / CD ripper.
