Parasound è un nome apprezzato in tutto il mondo, seppure probabilmente più diffuso in casa sua, gli states.

I suoi pre e finali Halo hanno però fatto il giro del globo e ora si rinnovano in un unico apparecchio.

Il nuovo Parasound Halo è un amplificatore integrato con convertitore ESS Sabre32 Reference DAC.

Forte di 160 watt di potenza per canale e a 8 Ohm, è in configurazione dual mono e monta una porta USB asincrona in grado di supportare segnali fino a 32/384.

Come ormai in voga (finalmente!) anche il Parasound Halo si presenta come un vero e proprio hub che non fa distinzioni fra ingressi analogici (5 disponibili) e digitali; e quindi ecco anche due ingressi ottici capaci di risoluzioni fino a 24/192.

Accetta segnali in ingresso anche di tipo DSD ma che vengono trattati in modalità DoP.
